DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Begin the High Holy Day season by joining us for an adult education session via Zoom at 8:00 p.m.  This year's Selichot Adult Education will feature Rabbi Ofer Shabat BetHalachmi discussing "The Basics of the Palestinian/Israeli Conflict."At 9:30 p.m. we will mark the end of Shabbat with a Selichot service and the candle, wine and spices of Havdalah. Selichot, which means forgiveness, previews the Ten Days of Awe (Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur). You will not want to miss this special service, which includes prayer, songs, and dressing our Torah scrolls in their white covers. The service can only be viewed via live streaming on the website.
