[9th – 12th Grade]
This program is for high school students who want to contribute to our school and gain experience as Jewish Educators. Ninth and tenth grade students may join us and receive community service credits. Selected eleventh and twelfth grade students will receive financial compensation for their time in the classroom. High school students engage in a reflective process in which they think about, ask questions and discuss their time in the classroom. They serve as role models for our younger students and strengthen their commitment to and understanding of Jewish learning.
High School at Kulanu
For more than 25 years the Valley Temple High School program has been combined with the other three Reform synagogues to create Kulanu (formerly the Cincinnati Reform Jewish High School). Kulanu means “all of us” and each week, 200 students from all over Cincinnati gather to take electives and required classes from the rabbis of the four congregations and a talented faculty of HUC students and community teachers.
