Selichot
Begin the High Holy Day season by attending Adult Education at 8PM. After a dessert reception, we will mark the end of Shabbat with a Selichot service and the candle, wine and spices of Havdalah at 10PM. Selichot, which means forgiveness, previews the Ten Days of Awe (Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur). You will not want to miss this special service, which includes prayer, songs, and dressing our Torah scrolls in their white covers.
